Hey there! So, the myGov Code Generator app is basically here to help you out when you want to sign in to your myGov account at my.gov.au. But just so you know, you can't actually sign in directly from the app itself. Once you've downloaded it, you'll need to get it all set up on your device. It'll then generate some codes for you to use when signing in. During the setup process, they'll ask you to read and agree to the Terms of Use, set up SMS codes as a backup option for signing in, and automatically register your myGov account settings on the app.

After you've got the app all set up on your device, just head over to my.gov.au to sign in to your myGov account using your username and password. Once you're signed in, open the app and enter the 6-digit code it gives you. Keep in mind that if you delete the app or switch to a new device, you might lose access to your myGov account. To avoid that, make sure to adjust your myGov account sign-in settings.

If you happen to lose your device with the app on it, don't worry! You can still get into your myGov account by using your sign-in backup. Just remember, you'll have to change your sign-in options for your myGov account. And if you don't have a backup, well, you might be out of luck and lose access to your account.
