Celestron's SkyPortal app is like having a personal guide to the stars. It's got over 120,000 stars, 200 star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, asteroids, comets, and even satellites like the ISS. So basically, you can explore the whole Solar System with this app. And if you have a Celestron WiFi telescope that works with it, you can just pick any object from the app's database and your telescope will automatically point towards it. Talk about convenience!

SkyPortal's planetarium has some awesome features. One cool thing is that it can show you what the night sky looked like in the past or will look like in the future, up to 100 years! If you use Compass Mode, you can hold up your device and see a live display of all the cool stuff up there, like stars, constellations, planets, and even galaxies. And get this - you can even control certain Celestron WiFi telescopes with the app! It's super handy because it helps you aim your telescope accurately. You can also use SkyPortal to see cool events like transits and eclipses. Oh, and if you're out stargazing at night, don't worry about straining your eyes because Night Vision mode is available too. Lastly, if you want to learn more about all these amazing things in the sky, there are tons of descriptions in the app that tell you about their history and mythology. So cool!

SkyPortal also has this awesome feature where you can control your telescope using your computer. You just need to connect your device to a Celestron WiFi telescope that works with it and use Celestron's SkyAlign™ technology to get it aligned. This is way better than other telescopes that need their own computer. With SkyPortal, you can easily find and identify objects in the sky and just tap on them to get them perfectly centered in the eyepiece. Oh, and by the way, the app also supports French, Italian, German, and Spanish!

Basically, Celestron's SkyPortal app is like a super cool astronomy toolbox that lets you have an awesome time with the night sky. It's got all these amazing features like a planetarium and even lets you control your telescope with your computer. Whether you're just starting out or a total pro, SkyPortal is definitely the go-to app for anyone who loves stargazing.
