DS Barometer is a cool Android app that works as a barometer and records air pressure. You can use it on devices with or without a fancy barometric pressure sensor. The app figures out the average sea level pressure where you are, which is like a standard way to compare atmospheric pressure at different places. But to do that, it needs to know your location, so it'll ask for permission for that. Oh, and it also has this nifty feature that keeps an eye on pressure changes in the background, even if you're moving around or changing altitudes. For that, it needs permission to access your location all the time.

Monitoring barometric pressure can be really useful for folks dealing with barometric migraine headaches and other conditions linked to changes in air pressure, like arthritis. If your device has a barometer sensor, this app uses the atmospheric pressure it measures to figure out the adjusted barometric pressure at your location. It also grabs info on temperature and altitude by comparing where you are to weather and altitude databases. On top of all that, this app has cool extra features like an Altimeter that uses LIDAR and/or RADAR surveys of your area, reports on outdoor temperature, and even lets you keep an eye on atmospheric pressure in the background with nifty graphs and charts.

The app has some ads to help pay for making it. If you hate ads and don't want to pay to remove them, then don't download it. Some devices and apps that save battery might turn off the monitoring in this app. If you can't record pressure with barometer monitoring on, you'll need to turn off battery saving. For any questions about their apps, users can email them.

DS Barometer is a super handy app for keeping an eye on barometric pressure. You can use it on any device, even if it doesn't have a built-in pressure sensor. The app figures out the average pressure at your location, which is a fancy way of comparing pressure in different places. Plus, it's got this cool feature that can keep track of pressure changes when you move or go up or down in altitude. Just a heads up though, this feature needs permission to access your location all the time. But that's not all! The app also throws in some bonus features like an Altimeter using fancy LIDAR and/or RADAR surveys of your area, outdoor temperature reports, and even nifty graphs and charts for keeping tabs on atmospheric pressure in the background.

Barometric pressure monitoring is super helpful for folks dealing with barometric migraines and other conditions that are affected by changes in air pressure, like arthritis. This app uses the atmospheric pressure measured by your phone's sensor to figure out the adjusted barometric pressure at your location. It also grabs info on temperature and altitude from weather and altitude databases. Just a heads up, there's some ads in the app to help cover development costs. If you hate ads and don't wanna buy the ad-removing feature, then maybe skip this download. Oh, and FYI, some devices or apps that claim to save battery power might turn off the monitoring features in this app. If you want to record the pressure, you'll have to turn off those battery-saving settings.
