Hey there! We've just released a new and improved version of the 'Simple Moon Phase Widget' app. It's got some awesome upgrades, including a better calendar with different background options, extra data, MoonSign, and even Mercury retrograde info. And the best part? It's super lightweight and you can get notifications without having to set up the widget on your home screen. You can also try out different moon colors for free, but keep in mind that changing the moon color is a paid feature.

The app has a bunch of cool features, like when you tap on a date in the calendar, it takes you to a screen with a big ol' picture of the moon. You can get all sorts of info there, like how old the moon is, how far away it is, what percent of it is lit up, and even when it's gonna rise and set. Plus, it tells you about other stuff too, like the Moon sign and if Mercury is going retrograde. And get this - it also sends you notifications for full moons, new moons, first quarters, and last quarters right in your status bar! Oh yeah, and the widget can be resized to fit your liking. And as if that wasn't enough, there's even a memo function on the calendar. Cool beans!

The app needs access to your storage and location. It won't automatically change your wallpaper, so you'll have to find and set the wallpaper yourself. Just a heads up, the app doesn't have an image that perfectly replicates the moon's wobbly movement. The position of the moon phase pattern, like its craters, slightly shifts over time.
