So, there's this cool app that can scan barcodes on products, as well as those fancy QR Codes and Data Matrix codes that have URLs, contact info, and other stuff. But here's the thing: the app ain't getting any more updates on Google Play. Yep, no more new versions coming out.

One cool thing about the app is that you can share contacts, apps, and bookmarks using a QR Code. But for that, the app needs to have access to your contacts. If you're having trouble scanning with the app, there are some tricks you can try. Go to Settings and enable all the device bug workarounds. Then, disable them one by one until you figure out which one is needed. If that doesn't do the trick, you can also try clearing your device cache and settings from the Android settings menu.

Just so you know, this app has never had any ads and it never will. If you're seeing ads, it's probably because of some sneaky malware from a third party that's wrongly accusing the app of having adware.
