The Smart Security app is like a superhero for your phone or tablet, keeping all those nasty viruses at bay. It scans your device and any external media to sniff out any sneaky viruses that might be lurking. It's got your back!

To get the app, you gotta sign up for the Smart Security Pack, Tablet Security Pack, Smart Security powered by McAfee, or any other basic packs that SoftBank or Y!mobile offer. You can subscribe to the app through My SoftBank or call 157 (it's free!) if you're a SoftBank customer, and My Y!mobile or dial 151 (charges may apply) if you're a Y!mobile customer. And hey, if you've already subscribed to the basic packs or security packs, you can also enjoy using the Internet SagiWall service.

The app has this cool feature that can detect when sketchy apps are being launched and it will show you warning messages. But to use this feature, you gotta let the app access info about the apps on your device. Don't worry though, it won't use this info for anything else. If you don't enable this user assistance feature, then you won't get any malware detection or warning messages.

Hey folks, just a heads up! If you're using Android 7.0 or a newer version, you can enjoy the awesome Smart Security powered by McAfee service. Unfortunately, Chromebook users are out of luck as the app doesn't support those devices. For all you Redmi Note 9T peeps, make sure you perform the latest system update and tweak your app settings afterward. And hey, if you're rocking a Dual SIM phone and have a SoftBank service contract, remember to set your mobile data communication settings to the SoftBank network. Keep those devices secure!
