You can easily set up the Aterm series router for Wi-Fi by scanning the 'Easy QR Start QR Code' with the app. This code has all the info you need, like the network name and password, so it's super easy and secure to use. If you have an Aterm product that supports 'Easy QR Start 2', you can even set up your Wi-Fi and internet connection using the app. The app works on Android 4.4 or higher and can be used with smartphones and tablets that have Google Play and a camera.
Before you start using the app, make sure to take a look at the QR code's location in the product manual. Also, check if your device's camera has autofocus and a good resolution. If you're having trouble scanning the QR code, try changing the camera's position, lighting, or environment. Oh, and don't forget to update your Aterm firmware and make sure that the product isn't in child or relay mode.
To get started with the 'Easy QR Start 2' feature, you might have to punch in your ID and password for the PPPoE router mode. Then just sit back and relax for around 10 minutes while all the settings do their thing. But if there's a pesky IP address conflict while connecting to the internet, no worries! Just head over to Aterm's web configuration screen and sort it out. And hey, if you run into any problems along the way, just double-check your settings or reset your Aterm back to factory settings. Easy peasy!
Please keep in mind that the app might not work properly if you're using it in bridge mode, access point mode, or if you have a multi-level router setup. If you have any questions or encounter any problems, feel free to get in touch with us.
