So, there's this awesome video converter called SmoothVideo Project (SVP) that can make any video look super smooth by converting it to 60 frames per second or even higher in real-time. The cool thing is that the SVP community swears by it and says that once you've watched at least three movies with this high frame rate, you'll never want to go back to the old and boring 24 frames per second standard.

SVPlayer is a super cool video player that's built on the awesome mpv video player. It can handle any video or audio format you throw at it, plus it's got all these amazing features like hardware video decoding, streaming from the internet, and making your videos look super sharp and pretty. It even supports HDR tone mapping! If you're into translating stuff, the SVPlayer team would love your help in bringing it to more languages. And hey, the best part is you can try SVPlayer for free and see if it floats your boat. Just keep in mind that it might not work on older Android versions before 9 or if your device has less than 2 GB of RAM (but seriously, you should have at least 3 GB for the smoothest experience). Oh yeah, and if your device doesn't support or give access to OpenCL API, then SVPlayer might not be your cup of tea either. But hey, give it a whirl and see what happens!

For SVPlayer, we recommend using a Snapdragon 855 or similar device with at least 4 GB of RAM. If your device is running slow or experiencing stuttering, you can try improving performance by adjusting the performance/quality slider to reduce CPU consumption, decreasing frame size, disabling the 'Allow output in 10-bit color depth' option, or turning off hardware decoding. If you're having issues like no video or a green screen, try disabling hardware decoding or using a direct link to the M3U8 stream. If you're unable to make payment through Google, you can install a standalone APK from our website. And if you're having trouble finding your ASS/SSA subtitles on your device's storage, it's because of a limitation in Android 11 and newer versions. However, you can still open them by using the native file picker.

SmoothVideo Project (SVP) and SVPlayer are super cool tools for converting and playing videos. But here's the deal, they need a fancy new CPU and special OpenCL support from your vendor. SVP has this awesome thing called real-time motion interpolation (MEMC) that lets you pick the frame rate you want, customize settings, detect black bars and adjust lighting. Plus, it even has a built-in file browser that can stream videos from Samba/CIFS shares, DLNA, WebDAV, and FTP.
