WPSApp is this awesome app that you can use on your phone to see if your network is secure or not. It works by using this thing called the WPS protocol, which lets you connect to WiFi networks using an 8-digit pin number that's already set up on your router. The app takes these pins and tries to connect to the network to see if it's vulnerable or not. It even has a bunch of different ways to generate pins and some default ones too. Oh, and it can also figure out the default key for certain routers, show you the WiFi passwords saved on your device, check out all the devices connected to your network, and even tell you how good the WiFi signal is on different channels. So basically, it's like having a super cool security inspector for your WiFi right in your pocket!

When you're scanning networks around you, the ones with a red cross are considered "secure" because they've disabled the WPS protocol and the default password is unknown. Networks with a question mark have enabled the WPS protocol, but we don't know the pin. In this case, our app lets you test out the most common pins. Networks with a green tick are probably vulnerable since they have the WPS protocol enabled and we know the connection pin. But hey, not all networks are vulnerable! Just because a network looks like it's vulnerable doesn't mean it's a guarantee. Some companies have updated their router firmware to fix this issue.

Starting from Android 6 (Marshmallow), you gotta give the green light to location permissions. It's a fresh rule thrown in by Google in this update. Certain Samsung models keep things encrypted, so instead of showing your actual password, they display a bunch of fancy-looking hexadecimal digits. On LG models with Android 7 (Nougat), forget about using pin connection because it won't fly. Before you drop an evaluation, make sure you grasp how the app operates. If you have any suggestions, screw-ups, or thoughts, feel free to shoot 'em over to us.

WPSApp is a super handy tool to check if your network is secure. It's like a breeze to use and gives you the lowdown on how vulnerable other networks around you are. They're always keeping it up to date with new fancy algorithms and default pins. But, hey, don't go using it for shady stuff 'cause not all networks are easy targets, okay? Oh, and just so you know, it asks for location permissions, which might bug some folks.

The app was made by a cool team of people who are totally mentioned in the app description. Shout out to Zhao Chunsheng, Stefan Viehböck, Justin Oberdorf, Kcdtv, Patcher, Coeman76, Craig, Wifi-Libre, Lampiweb, David Jenne, Alessandro Arias, Sinan Soytürk, Ehab HoOoba, drygdryg, and Daniel Mota de Aguiar Rodrigues. You can grab the app from the Google Play Store and it's been getting some awesome reviews from users.
