The Corona-Warn-App is a cool mobile app created by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for the German government. The RKI is like the big boss when it comes to public health in Germany, and they made this app to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Basically, the app tells you if you've been near someone who tested positive for the virus. It uses Bluetooth magic to exchange secret codes with other people who also have the app and are close by. If you test positive for COVID-19, you can choose to share your secret codes with the app. Then, it'll let other users know if they've been hanging out with you too closely.

Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads up that the Corona-Warn-App will no longer be updated after June 1, 2023. Don't worry though, you'll still have access to all the certificates and contact journal you've saved so far. However, some of the other cool features will be gone. This is because the number of COVID-19 cases in Germany has been dropping and more people are getting vaccinated. The government will keep an eye on things and might think about creating a new app if needed.

In a nutshell, the Corona-Warn-App has been super helpful in keeping COVID-19 in check in Germany. Although they're planning to stop working on it soon, we won't forget how it made a real difference in keeping people healthy.
