The GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification app is a cool tool that lets you secretly share your positive COVID-19 test result and find out if you've been exposed to someone who also tested positive. It's all about keeping your privacy intact while taking care of your health, your family's, and your community's well-being. All you gotta do is download the app and turn on Bluetooth. If you happen to test positive, you can choose to let others know, and anyone who was in close contact with you in the past two weeks will get a heads up that they were near someone with a positive test. But don't worry, they won't have a clue who or where it was!

It's super important to stop the spread of COVID-19 if we want our communities, schools, and businesses to get back on track and stay open. The more people who download and use the GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification app, the better chances we have of letting those who've been exposed know about it. When someone tests positive for COVID-19, the Alabama Department of Public Health will do their best to notify people they've been around, but they can't possibly know everyone. That's where this app comes in handy - it offers a way more inclusive notification system that can really help put a stop to this virus.

The GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification app is like a secret agent that keeps you safe from COVID-19. It uses fancy Bluetooth technology to exchange secret codes with other people when you're hanging out within six feet of each other. If someone tests positive for the virus, the app will send a sneaky anonymous message to all the peeps they were close to, letting them know they might have been exposed. Don't worry though, the message won't spill any beans about who tested positive or where it happened - just the date of the possible exposure. This cool app was made by the Alabama Department of Public Health, teaming up with the University of Alabama at Birmingham and MotionMobs, with some help from Apple and Google. When you use it, your phone will quietly exchange codes with others using Bluetooth, without sharing any personal info or tracking your location.
