AOSS is like this cool app that lets you connect your Android phone to a Buffalo AirStation Wi-Fi router super easily and with total security. All you gotta do is follow the instructions and hit the AOSS button on the AirStation, and boom! The app takes care of all the security stuff, like encryption, for you. Just a heads up though, if your Android has Wi-Fi calling, make sure to turn it off while setting up AOSS. Oh, and FYI, if you're using Android 6.0 or later, the app needs permission to access location services, but don't worry, it won't collect any location data or anything like that.

If you run into any problems while setting up, don't worry! There are a few things you can try to fix it. First, restart your Android device and the AirStation. Then, close all other apps that are running in the background. You might also want to move your device closer to the AirStation and change its wireless channel. If you have any other apps controlling your Wi-Fi, disable them for now. And lastly, get rid of any old Wi-Fi network settings that you don't need anymore. Hope these tricks help!

The app has been tested and it works with different versions of Android, starting from Android 2.1 (Eclair) up to the newest Android 12. But hey, there are a couple of devices that won't work with it, like the Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Rel and AQUOS R6. So make sure your AirStation can do AOSS if you want to use it with some models like WAPM-APG300N, WAPM-AG300N, or WHR-AMPG.

Just so you know, AOSS is a trademark owned by Buffalo Inc., the company that created the app.
