The AppRadio app from Pioneer is a cool way to transform your car into a connected car. All you need is a compatible Pioneer in-dash multimedia receiver and an Android smartphone that works with it. Once you've got everything hooked up, you can discover and install apps that are specifically designed for use in the car. And the best part? You can listen to music, watch videos, and control everything right from the big touchscreen on your dashboard. Just plug in a USB cable (either the Pioneer CD-MU200 USB to micro USB cable or the one that came with your phone) and you're good to go. But here's a heads up: depending on what kind of Android phone you have, the default settings for AppRadio One might not work perfectly. If you notice any issues with sound or images being unstable, just change the AppRadioMode Sound System setting on your Pioneer product and you should be good to go.

If you've got Pioneer products with AppRadio One or AppRadio Mode +, there are a bunch of options for you. For the '15 DVD Receivers, you can choose from AVH-X1700S, AVH-X2700BS, AVH-X3700BHS, AVH-X4700BS, AVH-X5700BHS, AVH-X6700DVD, and AVH-X7700BT. For the '16 DVD Receivers, there's AVH-X1800S, AVH-X2800BS, AVH-X3800BHS, AVH-X390BS, AVH-X391BHS, AVH-X4800BS, AVH-X490BS, AVH-X491BHS,X5800BHS,X6800DVD and X7800BT. And if you're looking at the '17 DVD Receivers with AppRadio Mode + there's a whole lot more like theAVH-500EX/501EX/600EX/601EX and MVH-1400NEX/2300NEX as well as theAVH-1300NEX/1330NEX/2300NEX/2330NEX/3300NEX.

To use Pioneer products with AppRadio Mode via HDMI, you'll need to connect them through HDMI and Bluetooth. Make sure to use the HDMI adapter recommended by your phone vendor. If your phone supports MHL to HDMI adapters and isn't a Samsung, you can use our Pioneer CD-AH200 adapter. Just keep in mind that you'll need a smartphone with HDMI video output.
