Missguided, this cool online store, was started by Nitin Passi back in 2009. And let me tell you, it's been on fire ever since! They've grown like crazy in the UK and even spread their wings to the US, Australia, France, and Germany. Can you believe it? In 2015, they even got themselves into Nordstrom and opened up a physical store in Selfridges Trafford Centre. Talk about making moves!

But hey, guess what happened in May 2022? Missguided was in some serious financial trouble and people were saying it might totally go under. Turns out, the company owed a whole bunch of money to its suppliers, like millions of pounds worth. So on May 31, 2022, they had to throw in the towel and go into administration because they couldn't pay up. But don't worry, the next day it was announced that Frasers Group swooped in and bought up Missguided's stuff, including its sister brand Mennace, for around £20 million. The deal meant that some of the employees got laid off, but others were lucky enough to get transferred over to Frasers Group. And get this: they even changed the company's name to MGL Realisations (2022) Limited in July 2022. Fast forward to August 2022 and Greg Pateras, who used to be the big boss at Matalan, took over as CEO of both Missguided and another fashion company called I Saw It First - which Frasers Group also snagged.

In March 2023, Missguided started dropping hints about its cool rebrand on Insta, showing off a fresh new logo. They spilled the beans that the big relaunch is gonna happen on March 31, 2023.
