You can totally boss around your device's screen orientation right from the notification area. This nifty feature lets you flip your screen with just a few taps. Plus, you can even stop other pesky apps from messing with your precious screen orientation. It comes in handy when you want to stick to a specific orientation for a special app or simply avoid any accidental flips.
You've got a bunch of different ways to rotate your screen. If you pick 'Guard' mode, no other apps can mess with the orientation. 'Auto Rotation' mode uses a physical sensor to figure out which way your screen should be facing. Want a portrait view? Go for 'Portrait' mode. And if you want it flipped, try 'Portrait (Reverse)' mode. Now, if you want the sensor to handle the flipping, go for 'Portrait (Sensor)' mode. For landscape lovers, there's 'Landscape' mode, and if you want it flipped, try 'Landscape (Reverse)' mode. Lastly, if you want the sensor to handle the flipping in landscape view, go for 'Landscape (Sensor)' mode.
Just a heads up, the availability of these modes might differ depending on your device. It's possible that some devices won't support certain modes. Oh, and if you've got the 'Guard' mode turned on, you won't be able to click the 'install' button while trying to install an app. If that happens, simply deactivate the 'Guard' mode or this app in order to continue with the installation.
You can easily change the way your screen looks by messing with the notification area.
