Hey guys! So, this awesome app was actually made by a dad who has a kid with autism. He wanted to help out other parents and professionals who work with autistic children. The app is based on this thing called the ATEC test from the American Autism Research Institute. It's specially made for kids between 5 and 12 years old, but you can also use it for kids between 3 and 4 if you're worried about autism. It's like a way to check things out before going to the doctor, you know? Super helpful!

The ATEC test is like a tool to check how well kids with autism are doing or to see if a child might have autism. The lower the score, the better things are going. But remember, this test isn't for diagnosing anything or making an official diagnosis. It just gives different scores for different parts and an overall score that can be looked at later on to compare.

For better and more precise scores, it's a good idea to have different folks who interact with the child take the test. The app will crunch the numbers and display the average score for that day on the chart. If someone scores over 30 points, they should reach out to a specialist for a thorough assessment and accurate diagnosis.

In a nutshell, this app is pretty handy for parents and experts to gauge how kids with autism are progressing or to give an initial test to those who might have autism. But, keep in mind that the ATEC test isn't a medical diagnosis tool, so it shouldn't be used to make a final diagnosis.
