Hey guys, guess what? The Aussie Government just dropped a cool new app for all you passport holders out there! It's called the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) app, and it lets you apply for an ETA on your phone. You know, that thing you need if you wanna visit Australia for a quick vacation or some business stuff.
The app has got your back with some cool videos to help you out during the application process. You can learn how to scan your passport, read the eChip for USA and other passports, and even snap a selfie. Just hop onto the Electronic Travel Authority website and check out these videos before you start using the app. Trust us, it'll make your application process super easy and successful!
Starting from February 21, 2022, peeps with a full vaccination can hit up Australia without needing some fancy travel exemption. But if you haven't gotten your shots yet, you'll still need to score a valid travel exemption to get into the country. Just make sure you stay in the loop with the latest travel restrictions and whatnot before you start making plans to head down under.
So basically, the Aussie Government has come up with this cool app that lets peeps with eligible passports apply for an Australian Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) for short trips to Oz. But here's the catch - it'll cost you 20 bucks and there are no refunds, so choose wisely! Don't worry though, they've got some helpful videos on their website to guide you through the application process. Oh, and one more thing - getting an ETA through the app doesn't automatically mean you can travel to Australia. If you ain't vaccinated, you'll still need a valid travel exemption.
Want to travel to Australia? Well, you'll need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA).
