Castify is a super cool app that lets you send videos, music, and photos to your TV or watch them on your phone. It works with all kinds of streaming devices like Chromecast, Roku, Fire TV, Xbox, and Smart TVs. You can play stuff from your phone, websites, IPTV, podcasts, and more. Castify has tons of awesome features like casting to your TV, finding web videos to watch online, mirroring your screen, playing playlists on IPTV, streaming local files to your TV using Chromecast or Roku, keeping track of what you've watched, bookmarking websites you love, searching for videos on any site you want, blocking annoying popups on certain sites, watching videos in a little window while you do other stuff (PiP), controlling Roku with your phone as a remote, checking out all the cool channels on Roku, adding subtitles (only for Chromecast and Roku), listening to podcasts, and even customizing how the app looks with different themes.
Castify works best with Google Chromecast and Google Cast receivers. If you use other casting receivers, you might not get all the cool features. With Castify, you can enjoy MP4 movies, MKV files, MP3 music and podcasts, JPG and PNG images, HTML5 videos, HLS Live Streaming, IPTV m3u files or urls, 4K and HD content (if available). But hey, some streaming receivers have their limitations. For example, screen mirroring is only available on newer Android devices. You also can't resume or scrub videos, stream audio or play certain file formats. Oh, and don't forget to enable AirPlay in settings if you want to use it. If you're using Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher, make sure to disable battery optimization too. Keep in mind that local casting of audio and photos isn't supported by Castify either. And lastly, sorry folks but MKV files and some url formats aren't gonna work here. So yeah, that's the scoop!
Castify doesn't mess with the videos you're watching - it just sends the original source to your streaming device. The app doesn't have any content of its own, so whether or not you can watch a video depends on the website it comes from. Castify only works with websites that use a public format, so if a video has some fancy special format, you won't be able to cast it to your TV. If a video isn't playing or gets cut off, it could be because of your internet provider, the website itself, or weak WiFi. To fix the problem, try making sure your WiFi is stable, restart either your casting device or phone, and remember that those flash movie websites won't work with streaming devices.
Castify is a super reliable app that lets you stream all your fave videos, tunes, and pics straight to your TV or phone. It's got your back with loads of different devices like Chromecast, Roku, Fire TV, and even Xbox. You can also cast stuff from websites, mirror your screen, and even use m3u playlists for IPTV. Plus, you can stream local files straight from your phone to Chromecast or any other device. Castify has so many cool features like play history, website bookmarks, video searching on any site, blocking annoying pop-ups, picture in picture mode (PiP), remote control for Roku, awesome themes to customize the app's look, subtitles (just for Chromecast and Roku), podcasts...the list goes on!
Castify works great with Google Chromecast and Google Cast receivers. If you try using other casting receivers, you might not get all the cool features. But don't worry, Castify supports a bunch of file formats like MP4 movies, MKV files, MP3 music and podcasts, JPG and PNG images, HTML5 videos, HLS Live Streaming, IPTV m3u files or urls, 4K resolution, and HD if it's available. However, some streaming receivers have their limitations. For example, only newer Android devices can do screen mirroring. Also, there's no video resuming or scrubbing feature, and no audio streaming either. Plus, there are some file formats that aren't supported and certain video movie formats won't work either. So keep these things in mind when using Castify with different receivers!
So basically, Castify doesn't mess with the videos you want to watch. It just sends the original source to your TV. The app doesn't have any content of its own, so whether you can actually watch something depends on the website you're getting it from. Castify can only cast videos from websites that use a public format, so if it's some fancy exclusive format, it won't work. If a video isn't playing or you get disconnected, it could be because of your internet provider, the website itself, or weak WiFi signal. To fix it, make sure your WiFi is stable, try restarting your TV or phone that you're casting from, and keep in mind that flash movie websites won't work with most streaming devices.
Watch videos from your web browser and easily stream them to your Roku, Chromecast, DLNA devices, Smart TVs, and more!
