The HCMtoGo mobile app is a cool new tool that lets employees and managers take care of their HR stuff wherever they are. But before you can use it, make sure your boss has set it up for your company. You'll also need to pick the region you're in and enter your Company Shortname, which is like a special ID number given to you by your boss. Oh, and your company has to use approval workflows for To Do Items, and the only timesheet profiles supported are Bulk Hours and Start/End (All Days). And bosses, don't forget to configure HCMtoGO for mobile use, and employees, make sure you have permission to access the app.
Once you've got the HCMtoGo app, you can do a bunch of cool stuff to make your HR life easier. You can check and fix timesheets, request and see time off, keep an eye on your vacation and sick days, sign up for benefits, look at your pay stubs, handle direct deposits, and check your schedule. And if it's allowed, you can even switch shifts with your colleagues.
Hey there, as an admin, it's crucial to remember that users need permission to access the app through their security profile and UI Preferences widget. Companies should be using approval workflows to handle To Do Items, and the supported timesheet profiles are Bulk Hours and Start/End (All Days) only. Users must have the company's Short Name for login purposes, and unfortunately, basic authentication with SSO is not supported right now.
