Web Video Caster® is a super cool app that lets you watch all your favorite videos from websites straight on your TV. It's got everything covered, from awesome movies and TV shows to live news, sports, and even IPTV. And guess what? You can also cast your own videos, photos, and music right from your phone! Oh, and did I mention it even finds subtitles for you? You can use your own or search for them on OpenSubtitles.org. Plus, it works with all the popular streaming devices like Chromecast, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Smart TVs, PlayStation 4, and more. How awesome is that?
To start streaming, all you gotta do is hop on the web or dig into your local files to find the video, audio, or photo you wanna send to your TV. If it's a video or audio on a website, you can give it a shot and play it right there on the webpage. And if it's a photo, just hold down on it and cast it away. Then, just connect to your streaming device and boom! Your video, music, or picture will be casting away in no time.
The app has a few limitations and stuff you should know. It's not connected to any fancy web media providers, so it can't control what content they give you. Unfortunately, it doesn't support tab casting like that Chromecast thing for your computer browser. And if there are any issues with playing or buffering, the app can't do anything about it because it's on the server side. Oh, and if you want a refund, you gotta ask within 24 hours of buying the app. Just a heads up, the app needs certain permissions like knowing your phone state, Wi-Fi info, photos/media/files stuff, in-app purchases (gotta make money somehow), keeping your device awake (so it doesn't fall asleep on you), knowing your accounts/identity (for all those logins), and even your location (but don't worry, we won't stalk you).
If you have any questions or need help, you can hit up the app's user community or shoot a message through their website contact form.
Stream movies, TV shows, and live streams directly to your Chromecast, Roku, DLNA devices, Fire TV, and more!
