SkEye is this cool planetarium app that also helps you find stuff with your telescope. It's all about identifying stars, planets, and constellations, and it even gives you the lowdown on meteor showers, comets, and deep sky objects from those fancy Messier and NGC catalogs. The best part? You can attach your phone to your telescope and use it as a guide! SkEye has this wicked time machine feature that lets you travel through time, like Doctor Who or something. Plus, it's got real-time Alt-Azimuth and Equatorial coordinates, Messier objects (fancy!), a mini-NGC catalog with around 180 bright objects, and deets on all those solar system things like the 8 planets and the 4 Galilean moons. Oh yeah, there's also a night mode for stargazing in style, a search function with a helpful arrow pointing you in the right direction, an Alt-Azimuth and Equatorial grid for all those coordinate nerds out there, and an aligned mode to keep you on track when using your telescope. So go ahead, get SkEye-ing!
To use SkEye, you gotta calibrate the magnetic sensors for more accurate results. The app needs a few permissions like location to pinpoint celestial objects and Bluetooth for remote sensor support. If you got any questions, just shoot us an email!
