SPlayer is like the boss of all Android video players. It's super easy to use and has a ton of cool features. You can watch any type of video with it, and streaming is smooth as butter. With SPlayer, you'll have no trouble finding your way around your videos and trying out all the awesome stuff it comes with.

SPlayer is awesome because it can handle all kinds of video formats, so you don't have to worry about your files not working. You can even mess around with the subtitles by changing how they look and how fast they appear. And get this, you can bring in subtitles from your computer or even from the internet! Plus, if you've got a ChromeCast, you can watch videos on your TV too. Oh, and did I mention that SPlayer has this cool Picture in Picture mode? You can do other stuff while watching videos at the same time. It's like having superpowers!

SPlayer has some cool extra stuff like player gestures, a secret folder for guarding private videos, audio and brightness boosters, and support for playing videos in the background. And get this: you can even stream torrent videos straight away without having to download them! You can jump around within the video and pick which files you want to save. The player is also compatible with different subtitle formats like DVD, DVB, SSA/ASS, SubRip, MicroDVD, VobSub, SubViewer2.0, and WebVTT.

In order to do all the cool stuff, SPlayer needs a few permissions. It needs internet access so it can stream and download from URLs. It also needs access to your external storage so it can read and write files. And if you want to improve the download feature, it might need a foreground service. On top of that, for Android 8 and older versions, it needs system alert window and system overlay window permissions for PIP mode. Oh, and it also wants access to network state so it can send alerts when you're using a 4G network for online videos. Last but not least, it needs access to Wi-Fi state for local video casting.

Features

We've got you covered with all video formats! Our awesome feature lets you set your own subtitles and crank up the audio for an epic viewing experience.
